This isn’t as good as my all time favorite Washington quote, but sometimes we get some good quality biting sarcasm from this city. Even if I don’t like the person saying it or don’t necessarily agree with the sentiment being expressed, I have to give credit where credit is due when someone makes a great point using biting humor.

For the record, my favorite quote to date came from Donald Rumsfeld leading up to the invasion of Iraq when asked about France’s lack of support for the war. Paraphrasing his response he said, “Going to war without France is like going hunting without your accordion.”
I’m definitely not a fan of Rumsfeld, but that’s funny.
