Humayan’s Tomb is probably my favorite architectural thing that I saw in New Delhi. I feel a little strange saying that because even though it was much more impressive than the Red Fort, it had some deficiencies. The actual structure and the exterior are truly amazing. Its really is one of the most impressive structures I’ve seen.
Unfortunately, I can’t really comment beyond the way the structure looks. I didn’t really do any research beforehand to know the story behind Humayan and there was a distinctive lack of information regarding the grounds and history. The other significant negative was that I find the inside, dare I say, kind of boring. There was much less to see on the inside than there was on the outside. Check it out for yourself below.
