Ever since I saw Minority Report I’ve wanted a computer that I could control by moving my hands in the air.  I also really wanted a hoverboard after I saw Back to the Future II, and I’m still waiting on that one (I would still buy one even though I’d kill myself if I actually tried to ride it).

Fortunately for me, really freakin smart people are working on my Minority Report dream.  Between this multi-touch optical force field thingy and the Kinect for the xBox 360 we’re well on our way.

Practical uses?  No idea and I don’t care; it’s just cool.
